Risk Factors are Conditions or Situations that increase the possibilities of having Breast Cancer among the population.

What are the Risk Factor for Breast Cancer
Personal History of Breast Cancer: Patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer in the past, are more liable to get new breast cancer if compared to the general population.
Family History of Breast and other Cancers: Hormone-sensitive cancers such as Ovarian and Endometrial Cancers if present in the first degree relatives are considered a high family related Risk Factors
Reproductive History: Research revealed that women who are not pregnant or have low parity are more liable to have breast cancer than others who have children.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT): Women who received hormone replacement therapy during their reproductive life have more chances to develop breast cancer than those who don’t use the HRT.
Oral Contraceptives: Patients who used oral contraceptive pills for more 10 years are more liable to develop Breast Cancer than those who don’t use it or use the pills for a shorter period of time.
