Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) and joint pain

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) is a relatively new low-dose electromagnetic radiation that was invented for more than 30 years in Eastern Europe. The idea behind using the PEMF  is that the optimized window of the PEMF machine is capable of aligning normal body cells to their normal functioning window which subsequently results in an improvement in many health problems such as inflammation and pain. The use of the PEMF in joint pain and arthritis was  known  for many years and was highlighted in this research

What does a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) Machine look like?

The Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) Machine is made of a disc-shaped magnet traversed by electrical wires passing through the center of this disc. When the electric current passes through the disc, it creates an electromagnetic field through the center of the disc which when placed on the area of concern (such as an inflamed joint or muscle) starts to send the low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field radiation that improves the blood flow, helps to heal and reduce inflammation and pain in the area where the machine is used.
